Coursera now offers built-in Jupyter

One impediment to getting started with classes is doing all the setup. Get access to this, download that, configure this…it’s time-consuming and frustrating.

Now Coursera has eliminated some of those obstacles. One way is by offering built in Jupyter, so you can run Jupyter using Coursera resources. So what might have required a PC before could now be done on a tablet, for instance.

Of course only recently created or updated courses will offer this. One such course is Understanding and Visualizing Data with Python, offered by the University of Michigan. I’m not too far into it at the moment – it might well require more resources further into the course.
